Update September 4, 2024 - 10:30am:
Dear Baroody Camps Families,
We were notified today that one of the companies we work with, Overtime Athletics, had one of its former staff members arrested today. Please see this link for their statement on this matter.
We are deeply concerned by this event and are actively collaborating with Fairfax County Public Schools to assist in any way we can. Please know that the safety and well-being of your children are, and always will be, our top priority.
At Baroody Camps, we take every possible measure to ensure the safety of your children. All our staff members, as well as those employed by our partners, undergo multiple, rigorous background checks. Your trust is essential to us, and we are fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and care in everything we do.
In light of this incident, we will be working with FCPS to evaluate current policies and procedures to ensure they remain as robust and effective as possible. Our goal is to continuously improve and provide a safe and secure environment for every child in our programs.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to listen and to address any concerns you may have.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
Sincerely,
